Key Installation Notes for Pump Damping Base

In industrial production and urban water supply systems, water pumps operate at high frequency, generating significant vibration and noise. Installing vibration isolators and damping pedestals is one of the most common and effective vibration isolation solutions. The following points should be noted during installation:

Installation Sequence
Reserve space for the anti vibration mounts on the waterproof foundation first, place the damping pedestal, install the shock isolators, and then position the pump on the isolation pedestal.
Accurate Hole Alignment
Ensure precise alignment of the upper and lower mounting holes of the vibration dampers to prevent twisting and loss of vibration isolation performance.
Balanced Load Distribution
Keep the pump's center of gravity as centered as possible. Avoid uneven loading and adjust the vibration isolator height to ensure proper leveling.
Flexible Grounding Connection
Use flexible copper wire for grounding to avoid creating rigid connections between the pedestal and the foundation.
Do Not Embed Vibration isolators
Vibration isolators must remain exposed and must not be covered or embedded in concrete.
Proper Pedestal and Isolator Selection
Design the pedestal and select vibration dampers according to the size of the waterproof foundation. Ensure bolt holes are positioned at least 100 mm away from the foundation edge.
Avoid Load Concentration During Installation
Begin installation from the side with more vibration dampers to prevent excessive load on only one or two isolators.
